A refuge for people in Pattaya suffering from HIV. Having been evicted from their original residence, due to opposition from neighbours, they have been granted a new residence and need our help with new beds and linen.

The Health Care/Medical Center of Wat Hor Pha Keo, Nr. Pakse, Lao, provides health, accident, pre and post natal care for several hundred families in the area. This center has NO TOILETS, is lacking equipment and is in serious need of structural repair. With the help of funds raised by the LBWVB, toilets will be constructed as well as other repairs.

Donated 250,000 to
Baan Gerda

Baan Gerda is an orphanage that takes care of approximately 80 orphan children who contracted HIV through their parents.

They focus on rehabilitating these children and ensuring they receive the correct medication and care  that they need.  This then increases the chances they will be able to live normal lives.

We all live in hope that a cure can be found for HIV, but in the meantime, Baan Gerda takes care of the children who were infected before they were even born.
